Bran Castle + Village Museum + Rasnov Fortress
The Bran Castle, built on a rock located at the end of the valley, dominates the places. The construction act of the citadel is dated November 19, 1377. Conceived as a border citadel with customs here, for long periods of time the citadel belonged to Braşov, increasing the city's treasury.
The Bran National Museum gathers in its two sections, the Village Museum and the Medieval Customs Museum, the most important exhibits representative of Bran. The village museum was conceived as an open-air museum and presented the main types of households, dwellings, outbuildings, economic constructions and wood and woolen fabric processing facilities.
Râșnov Citadel is the fortified complex located on the limestone hill south of the city of Râșnov in Brașov County, one of the best-preserved fortified complexes in Transylvania.
